Molecular Biology Department
This department develops and implements cutting edge pharmaceutical protein expression systems, especially use E coli. Our strategies include manipulating E. coli strain by genetic approaches, development of novel vectors and fusion tags, and innovation in new tools to process the proteins.
Protein Chemistry Department
The main responsibility of this department is to establish and to use novel tools and methodologies for the purification and characterization of proteins.
Cell Biology Department
This department is responsible for production of complex proteins in mammalian cell cultures such as monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins needed for research and development of therapeutic concepts.

Research Director of Protein Chemistry dept

Lead a protein chemistry group for purification and characterization of various proteins to support therapeutic protein drug research, and for identification of new drug targets and drug candidates for immunotherapy against inflammatory diseases and cancer.

1. The incumbent will purify and characterize various proteins at laboratory to pilot scale to support therapeutic protein drug R&D.
2. This individual will be involved broadly in the Oncology and Inflammatory disease Programs and responsible for the discovery of new or improved therapeutic proteins or antibodies.
应聘要求=：
• Ph.D. in biochemistry or other life sciences with 2-5 years post doctorate research.
• A good track record of research in the fields of biochemistry, immunology, inflammation, and/or cancer biology.
• A thorough understanding and solid hands-on experience on protein engineering, expression, refolding, purification, characterization and assay development.
• Working experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment, MALDI TOF mass spectrometry, and molecular biology is a plus. Knowledge of protein drug development would be an advantage.
