JOB PURPOSE
The regional Field Application Specialist is responsible for the regional pre- and post sales tech. and application support of products of LSG and for making customers satisfaction in product line in designated regions.
The Specific Area is Biomarker Analysis.
Financial
1. To Support Territory Manager and distributor to achieving China annual LSG sales target
Mainly work
2. Completes the corresponding product training task
3. demonstrates competency in conducting presentation and seminars for sales support in China
4. Supporting LSG China in Basic products
5. Supporting LSG China for appointed product and department
6. Work as a leader for appointed special products
7. Support Basic Products and Department by regional.
8. Support Special Products and Product leader national.
9. Material translation Work closely with Territory Manager and distributors to resolve customer’s issue at customer side.
Marketing
10. Supporting marketing team to implement marketing plan in tech. Support aspects.
11. update customer database Supporting marketing team in promotion activities such as seminar, exhibition / conference, workshop
Operations
12. Supporting staff for training, demonstrations and/or other customer support activities
13. demonstrates a good understanding the knowledge and skill in Tech. and Application
14. provides good feedback on the above to the Sales and Marketing Manager exhibits excellent organization skills
Customer Service
15. ensures that the Company achieves its customer satisfaction objective at all times
16. reports promptly to the LSG Manager of any circumstances where this is not occurring
17. maintains and reviews customer records
18. ensures the documentation and Literature in tech and Application field are properly prepared
19. provide excellent after sales support in Tech. and application aspects.
20. conducts oneself in a manner that will, at all times, bring credit to him/herself, the Company and the industry
Quality
21. investigates Quality Problem Reports where non-compliance is discovered
22. embraces the Bio-Rad quality philosophy
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualifications, skills/attributes and experience or other competencies that would be required for anyone who would fill the job. You may also want to indicate competencies that may are Essential and Desirable.
Qualifications
1. PhD or Ms. in Biochemistry, Immunology or Molecular Biology plus 3-5 years of laboratory experience with Biomarker analysis
2 Have proven proficiency in protein purification and immunoassay.
3 Familiarity with Protein-Protein interaction analysis will be desirable.
4Additional experience in surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization (SELDI) technology will be considered as an asset.
5 Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and the ability to contribute to a positive team environment will be essential |
