Responsibilities It is a new challenging and critical manager position based in Shanghai and working alongside our sales and technical support teams to contribute field marketing support to the Millipore Life Science business deliverables in China. The core responsibilities are as follows. • To provide speedy and accurate solutions to application or product based technical questions on site arising from our customers and sales organization. Frequent on-site demo and Q&A handling may be needed. • To edit and review all kinds of marketing materials including brochures, technical notes, technical files etc, particularly the translation verification • To be one of the chief lecturers of seminars on customer site and training for internal staff. • To be assigned personal projects to help increase our market presence and share with working in tandem with our Life Science sales team (e.g. active participation in sales meetings and providing technical recommendation). • To make technical presentations at sales meetings and customer locations. • Occasionally, to assist in organizing marketing events, representing Millipore at selected Trade Shows, exhibitions and conferences. To support in product marketing plan. • On occasion, to handle product-related problems with customers as required at the customer site.
Requirements/Qualification • PhD. Degree in Immuno-biology or Cell biology with at least two years working experience in a research environment. • Highly organized, results oriented and able to prioritize time and tasks effectively. • Prior experience working in an office based scientific technical support role preferred. • Excellent command of English and Chinese with good presentation skill. • Travel is required. • Familiar with Lotus Notes and/or Oracle/Microsoft word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Summary: The instrument sales specialist will be responsible for capital equipment sales including micro-capillary flow cytometry and multiplexed protein expression profiling equipment and associated reagents, developing focused strategies and tactics for meeting revenue goals and increasing general awareness of Millipore within key accounts, as well as throughout their overall territory. The ISS duties will be oriented to products requiring highly technical demonstrations in customer's laboratory.
