Postdoc - Biomedical Text Mining

Position: 

The Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects that are related to natural language processing (NLP) and text mining(TM) of both clinical records and biomedical literature. The position is available immediately. Compensation will be dependent on experience.

Vanderbilt University, one of the top 20 universities in the US, is located at Nashville of Tennessee. The Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt Medical Center is one of the largest Biomedical Informatics departments in the nation. 

Qualification: 

Applicants must have one of the following advanced degrees: 

1) A Ph.D. in computer science, information science, library science or a related field, with research experience in NLP/TM; or 2) A Ph.D. in bioinformatics, medical informatics, or a related field; or 3) A M.D. or Ph.D. in biomedical related fields (e.g. Biology), with significant informatics training/experience.
