Position Responsibilities

General Responsibilities
• To manage and develop technical support team for Life Science to meet management requirement.
• To develop the market/sector entrance strategy and new business opportunities for Millipore Life Science/ Bioscience Division business.
• To provide quality technical support to ensure that customers receive accurate advice on product use, guidance on product selection, and resolution of technical complaints.


Specific Job Responsibilities
• Help or instruct team members in order that they are able to Master customers' needs and provide primary technical advice to internal and external customers over the phone or in written manner.
• Relays critical information to Sales and Marketing regarding sales leads, new applications, product information and competitor activity.
• Provide sales personnel with technical data necessary.
• Resolve customers’ complaints of a technical nature.
• Serve as a demonstration of products.
• Handle product-related problems with customers as required.
• May make technical presentations at sales meetings and customer locations.
• May test products to resolve customer problems.
• Give suggestion of sales and marketing entrance strategy and proper steps.
• Teamwork with Marketing communication team to compile all kinds of sales tools and implement tradeshows for Lifescience division.

General Responsibilities
• To develop the marketing plan and sector entrance strategy for Millipore Lab Water Mid-Tier business in China
• To establish the dedicated sales organization and distribution network for the excellent implementation of Millipore Lab Water’s Second Brand commercial strategies.

Specific Job Responsibilities
• To develop Millipore China Lab Water Mid-Tier Long Range Marketing Plan & Business Development Strategy with support from Country Manager, National Sales Manager (Lab Water), related Corporate Strategies and Lab Water product management in headquarters.
• To develop appropriate marketing plan and sector entrance plan for Mid-Tier Lab Water product line. To implement the plan with the teamwork involvement and support from local Sales, Marketing, Service, Quality & Procurement Team.
• To design, implement and issue regular report and analysis to commercial team and management that detail Millipore Lab Water’s Mid-Tier competitive position. (Market Share, Ranking, etc.)
• To build and manage the distribution channel in mid-tier market with cooperation and support from Lab Water Distribution Effectiveness Manager.
• Keep close communication with headquarters to implement Second Brand Strategy in China. Identify and propose OEM, local sourcing, and other collaboration method to build Millipore’s firm start in China Lab Water mid-tier market, which eventually fuel the continuous growth to entire Millipore Lab Water business in China.
• To propose a tailor-made service process for China Lab Water Mid-Tier market with in-depth communication and alignment from service team.


Requirements/Qualification
• Bachelor Degree, preferable with Science background (Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
• Minimum 3 years working experiences in Sales & Marketing Management / Supervisory role in JV or WOFE.
• Familiar with China laboratory analytical instrument business with good business sense.
• Good command of English (able to communicate business plan with headquarters colleagues both written and oral), computer literature, and knowledge of office software application
• Work with integrity, teamwork, innovation, passion and good execution. Aggressive and assertive to meet business objectives but with good inter-personal skills in communication and rapport building.

• Perform outgoing calls and manage account relationships to generate sales leads
