Description:
The urine bilirubin level refers to the concentration or amount of bilirubin in the urine. Bilirubin is a yellow pigment produced from the breakdown of red blood cells and is typically metabolized and excreted by the liver. Under normal circumstances, there should be little to no bilirubin present in the urine. The presence of bilirubin in the urine may indicate abnormalities in liver function or issues with the biliary system.
