- Description
- Genetic depletion of transcription factor Sox30 using CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology leads to defects in spermiogenesis, and uniformly arrested at early round spermatids. Specifically, in the absence of Sox30, proacrosomic vesicles fail to form a single acrosomal organelle. This is correlated with changes in postmeiotic gene expression.
