  • PROJ Effects of nutrient input on microorganisms in saline lake

zenghui Wu, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan),2024.01.22

    Description

Global climate change and human activities have changed the salinity of the lake and the input of exogenous organic matter(OM) and nutrients into the lake. The input of nutrient elements will inevitably lead to changes in the microbial community of the salt lake. In order to explore the microorganisms that play a decisive role in the process of PE, this experiment was conducted.

  • PROJ Deciphering the composition and key driver genes of invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC) by multi-omics analysis and multicenter retrospective cohort

    Yaoyao Zhou, Tianjin medical university,2024.04.20

    Description

We delved into the intrinsic cellular components and transcriptomic signatures characterizing invasive micropapillary carcinoma (IMPC).Notably, we crafted a pioneering single-cell atlas of IMPC in human breast tissue, unraveling substantial heterogeneity predominantly driven by two distinct cell subsets: epithelioid cells and interstitial cells. Pseudotime analysis unveiled unique cell trajectories for IDC-NOS cells, epithelioid IMPC cells, and interstitial IMPC cells. Of significance, we found a significant positive correlation between KRT80 expression in IMPC and clinicopathological characteristics, such as lymph node metastasis and lymphatic vessel invasion. Additionally, high KRT80 expression was associated with shorter overall survival and disease-free survival times for IMPC patients in a multicenter retrospective cohort.

  • PROJ The implication of the vaginal microbiome in female infertility and assisted conception outcomes

    xiuju chen, ,2024.04.14

    Description

Infertility rates are on the rise, presenting a complex array of causative factors. Recent advancements in human microbiome and associated techniques have shed light on the potential impact of vaginal microbiota disruptions on female fertility. Our study aims to investigate differences in vaginal microbiome between fertile women and those experiencing infertility. Additionally, we aim to investigate how microbial composition in infertile population may affect the success of assisted reproduction technology (ART).
