DescriptionIn this project, we conducted a comprehensive investigation into the dynamics of bacterioplankton in Lake Fuxian, a monomictic deep-water lake. The study spanned a period of six years, allowing us to capture seasonal variations in bacterioplankton community dynamics. We employed amplicon sequencing technology to analyze the microbial community composition and unravel the seasonal changes in bacterioplankton diversity and maintenance mechanisms at various depths of the lake.
