- Description
- The Junggar Bactrian camels have strong and powerful body, and with symmetrical structure. The head is short and heavy, and there is prominent occipital bone behind it. The forehead is with moderate width, sharp mouth, hare lip, and with small and erect ears. The eyes are big, with bulging eye socket, and exophthalmos. The neck is thick and with medium length, and curved as “乙” font. They have well-develop muscle, the head and neck as well as the neck and shoulder are combined well. They have high and wide and thick withers (髻甲). The chest is deep and with moderate width. The abdomen is big and round and arched appropriately. They have wide back and narrow waist, and the waist and buttocks is combined well. The two humps have 25-35 cm intervals with height as 20-40 cm, and shaped as conical.
