1: The pattern of 16S rRNA signatures consists of nucleotides at positions 688:699 (A-U), 701 (U), 823:877 (A-U) and 1060:1197 (C-G). The order contains the family Bifidobacteriaceae. The nomenclatural type is the genus Bifidobacterium.
