Gram-stain-positive, aerobic, non-motile, non-spore-forming rod-shaped, catalase-positive and oxidase-negative. The predominant menaquinone is MK-9(H4). The polar lipids comprise diphosphatidylglycerol and unidentified glycolipid, phospholipids (PL1-PL2) and aminolipids (AL1-AL2). The peptidoglycan contains meso-A2pm and is of the A1γ type. The acyl type is N-glycolylated. The cellular fatty acid profile is characterized by the predominance of iso-C16:0, C18:1 ω9c, anteiso-C17:0 and C17:1 ω8c.
