
To accelerate pathogen identification, we developed the automated Identification Platform for Pathogens (IPP). It takes metatranscriptomic data measured by next-generation sequencing as input, performs rigorous quality control to filter low-quality reads, compares the remaining sequences against curated pathogenic reference databases (e.g., via FastViromeExplorer) to identify candidate pathogens, and finally assembles pathogen genomes based on matched references.
The system can automatically pair files with certain naming styles, or you can pair them manually. Do not change filenames after a successful pairing. Please follow the naming styles below before uploading:
