Cells are yellow-pigmented. Flexirubin-type pigments are not produced. Irregular rod-shaped cells. Do not form endospores. Gram-stain-negative and obligately aerobic. The major respiratory quinone is MK-6. Predominant cellular fatty acids are iso-C15:0, iso-C15:1 and iso-C17:0 3-OH.
