Gram-stain-negative, rod-shaped, non-flagellated, oxidase-positive and catalase-negative. Growth is observed at 15 to 37°C, with salinity range from 3 to 4%, and at pH range from 7 to 8. The major fatty acid is iso-C15:0. The G+C content is around 35.3 mol%.
