Etymology
L. fem. adj. <i>marina</i>, belonging to the sea, marine.
Ecology
Source
isolated from coastal seawater in the East Sea of Korea, at a depth of 100m.
Morphology
Cells are non-spore-forming, non-motile rods (0.20-0.30 × 1.0-2.0 µm). Colonies are translucent and shiny with entire edges, becoming mucoid after 3 days incubation.
