Ecology
Source
isolated from a microbial mat covering a polystyrene surface retrieved from an estuarine mangrove habitat in the Bahamas.
Morphology
Cells are non-motile, non-spore-forming, short rods. Colonies on marine agar are orange in colour, circular, 2.0-4.0 mm in diameter, convex with smooth surfaces and entire translucent margins.
