isolated from surface sea water, 350 km north of Deadhorse, Alaska.
Morphology
Cells are non-motile, long rods or filaments (0.5-1.2 × 16-32 µm). Cells are orange- to salmon-coloured and may produce gas vesicles. Colonies are orange- to salmon-colored, circular, at to convex, entire, smooth, opaque, and butyrous.
