Ecology
Source
isolated from the green alga Ulva fenestrata in Posiet Bay, Sea of Japan (also known as the East Sea).
Morphology
Cells are non-endospore-forming, regular rods (0.2-0.4 × 1.0-3.2 µm), and motile by gliding. On marine agar 2216, colonies are 2-3 mm in diameter, circular, shiny with entire edges, dark-orange-pigmented and sunken into the agar.
