Morphology
Cells are non-spore-forming, non-motile rods (0.2-0.4 × 0.5-10.0 µm). A few cells longer than 10.0 µm occur. Colonies on MA are circular, slightly convex, glistening, deep yellow in colour and 1.0-1.5 mm in diameter after incubation for 3 days at 30°C.
