isolated from a hypersaline Antarctic lake.
Morphology
Cells are non-spore-forming, non-motile rods (0.5-0.8 × 1.2-11.5 µm) and occur singly, in pairs, and sometimes in chains. Colonies on solid media are yellow, circular, entire, and convex.
