Etymology
N.L. n. <i>cellulosum</i>, cellulose; N.L. adj. <i>lyticus</i> -<i>a</i> -<i>um</i> (from Gr. adj. <i>lutikos</i> -<i>ê</i> -<i>on</i>), able to loosen, able to dissolve; N.L. fem. adj. <i>cellulosilytica</i>, cellulose-dissolving.

Source
isolated from soil from Daechung Island of the West Sea of Korea.
Morphology
Cells are motile rods (0.5 × 1.0-3.0 µm). Colonies are yellow, round or irregular on R2A medium.
