Source
isolated from soil during the course of the isolation of diazotrophs from a garden at the University of Tokyo, Japan.
Morphology
Cells are straight rods (0.4 × 1.2 µm), and motile by means of a single polar flagellum. Colonies on nutrient agar are yellow.
