Source
isolated from surface sediment of the Ross Sea, Antarctica, at a depth of 774 m.
Morphology
cells are non-motile, non-gliding, oval to rod-shaped (0.6-0.9 × 1-2 µm). Colonies are yellow, circular, convex, semitransparent, with entire margins, and approximately 1 mm in diameter after 5 days cultivation on MA at 25 °C.
