Cells are Gram-reaction-negative, aerobic, non-flagellated rods. Predominant fatty acids include anteiso-C15:0, iso-C15:0, iso-C15:1 G, anteiso-C15:1 A, iso-C15:0 3-OH, C17:0 2-OH and iso-C17:0 3-OH. Major polar lipids include phosphatidylethanolamine and one unidentified lipid. The major respiratory quinone is MK-6.
