Ecology
Source
isolated from Arctic intertidal sand, collected from the littoral zone of Kongsfjorden, Svalbard.
Morphology
Cells are non-flagellated rods (0.4-0.7 × 0.9-2.0 µm), when incubated on TYS agar at 20°C for 4 days. Gliding motility is not observed. Colonies are round (1-3 mm in diameter), yellow and convex with smooth surfaces after 3-5 days of incubation on TYS marine agar at 20°C.
