Cells are Gram-negative, aerobic, non-flagellated and rod-shaped. The predominant cellular fatty acids are anteiso-C15:0, iso-C15:0 and iso-C15:1 G. The major polar lipids are phosphatidylethanolamine and one unidentified lipid.
