Cells are aerobic, Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, non-gliding and pleomorphic. Catalase-positive and oxidase-positive. Negative for nitrate reduction. The predominant menaquinone is MK-6. The major fatty acids (>10% of the total fatty acids) are iso-C15:0 and iso-C17:0 3-OH. The major polar lipids are phosphatidylethanolamine and one unidentified lipid. The DNA G+C content is 39.9 mol% (HPLC).
