isolated from surface seawater samples from the western North Pacific Ocean.
Morphology
Cells are yellow-pigmented, coccoid and amorphous-shaped (approximately 2.0±1.5 µm (n=36) in diameter). Flexirubin pigments are not produced. Do not form endospores. Colonies are circular and 1-2 mm in diameter after 8 days incubation on MA at 30°C.
