Morphology
Cells are non-spore-forming, non-motile, short rods (0.4-0.5 × 1.0-2.0 µm). Accumulate poly-β-hydroxybutyrate acid granules as polar inclusion bodies. Colonies on MA are shiny, transparent, yellow and circular with regular edges.
