Ecology
Source
isolated from the green alga Acrosyphonia sonderi, collected in Troitsa Bay of the Gulf of Peter the Great of the Sea of Japan.
Morphology
Cells are non-endospore-forming, non-motile rods (0.4-0.5 × 1.6-2.3 µm). On marine agar, colonies are 2-4mm in diameter, circular, shiny with entire edges and yellow in colour (whitish strains occur).
