Source
isolated from deep-sea sediment sample at a depth of 2548 m, collected from the Nansha Islands sea area in the South China Sea.
Morphology
Cells are non-spore-forming, motile rods (0.5-0.7 × 4.0-4.6 µm). Produce diffusible yellow pigments. Colonies are non-translucent and shiny with entire edges, and become mucoid on NA medium or marine agar 2216 after incubation for 2-4 days at 30 °C.
