Source
isolated from a marine sponge (Rhabdastrella sp.) collected at rocky areas located in Sado Island, Japan.
Morphology
Cells are non-endospore-forming, non-motile, straight rods (0.5-0.6 × 2.0-2.3 µm), and lack flagella. Colonies grown on marine agar 2216 are circular and brown pigmented after 3 days of incubation at 30°C.
