Group 1: 25 participants with preliminary diagnosis of active Crohn's Disease will provide data via a single study-specific questionnaire within 4 weeks of a (ileo)colonoscopy. Blood, buccal, saliva and optional stool samples will be collected within 2 weeks of the (ileo)colonoscopy. Group 2: 25 participants with preliminary diagnosis of active Ulcerative Colitis will provide data via a single study-specific questionnaire within 4 weeks of a (ileo)colonoscopy. Blood, buccal, saliva and optional stool samples will be collected within 2 weeks of the (ileo)colonoscopy. Group 3: 25 healthy control participants will provide data via a single study-specific questionnaire within 4 weeks of a (ileo)colonoscopy. Blood, buccal, saliva and optional stool samples will be collected within 2 weeks of the (ileo)colonoscopy. Group 4: 10-25 participants with other selected inflammatory diseases (diverticulitis, microscopic colitis, diverticular colitis, rheumatoid arthritis, other) will provide data via a single study-specific questionnaire within 4 weeks of a (ileo)colonoscopy. Blood, buccal, saliva and optional stool samples will be collected within 2 weeks of the (ileo)colonoscopy. |
