| Interventions |
Group 1: Retrospective analysis of claims data of a German statutory health insurance. Patients with the following autoimmune diseases: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Chronic Inflammatory Rheumatic Disease (CIRD) or Chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease (CED) (MAC) and a matched control group will be identified from BARMER routine data. Base population MAC: 135,000 - 180,000 (prevalence 1.5%-2% on ~9,000,000 insured persons). Group 2: Qualitative data collection among MAC patients and primary care physicians. Identification of barriers and facilitating factors for both treating physicians and MAC patients towards vaccination, description of the individual vaccination strategy of the treating physicians as well as analyses of the reasons for low vaccination rates in the context of a qualitative primary data collection. |
