Nutritional supplementation with Modulen, standard formula enriched with transforming growth factor beta. Case series of thirty patients with Crohns Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. Patients will be supplemented with Modulen throughout the study period to be used at the standard dosage of five hundred ml of reconstituted supplement daily. The supplement will be provided free of charge by Nestle. Patients will be monitored by the team and will be evaluated in three stages, described as before supplementation with Modulen, thirty days after starting Modulen supplementation, sixty days after starting Modulen supplementation. At each moment, clinical data will be collected, evaluation of the clinical activity of the disease, biochemical evaluation, nutritional evaluation and evaluation of psychological outcomes (assessment form).;G07.203.300.456 |
