| Interventions | Group 1: Intervention group: in addition to routine medical care, IBD patients under biological therapy are cared for by a specially trained IBD assistant. Patients receive intensive care/counselling talks by IBD assistant every 3 months for a total period of 18 months. An assessment tool (questionnaire) ist used to identify problem areas of the patients. Group 2: Control group: Recieves usual routine care. |
