| Interventions | This is being undertaken as part of good clinical practice. Patients with a diagnosis of IBD who underwent a CT scan, and in whom there are suspicious features of axSpA will be invited to participate in the study via a postal questionnaire. If patients are considered eligible, participants will then be invited to attend an assessment in the Rheumatology Department. This will comprise an expert medical interview, physical examination, blood tests and an MRI scan of the spine and pelvis. |
