This study is a randomized double-blind controlled clinical trial that will be performed at the Hospital das Cl??nicas of the Medical School of Ribeir??o Preto, University of S??o Paulo (HCFMRP-USP), with 40 women with Metabolic Syndrome and Non-Alcoholic

| Outcome Measures: |
Metabolic Syndrome: evaluation of abdominal circumference, blood pressure, HDL-cholesterol, triglycerides and fasting glycemia.<br>Pre and post intervention evaluation through blood tests, anthropometrics and gauging.Hepatic steatosis: To quantify the degree of liver fat through magnetic resonance before and after intervention.
