Monitoring reports

This part provides the antigenicity monitoring of all reported SARS-CoV-2 strains. For each pre-defined epitope region, an alert is given on the lowest similarity score in strain population toward the benchmark strain of Wuhan-Hu-1 (AAC) [5]. Scores between SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV [4] or BatCoV [6] are also provided. Moreover, the alert is given at four levels, as below:

  • Blue: antigenic score>=0.8, similar antigenicity;
  • Yellow: 0.7<=antigenic score<0.8, reduced antigenicity;
  • Orange: 0.6<=antigenic score<0.7, varied antigenicity;
  • Red: antigenic score<0.6, drifted antigenicity.
Also, the dynamic protection coverage of currently available mAbs is provided on this page. In each month, the protective coverage was defined as the strain population of antigenic similar strains divided by the circulating population in the corresponding month. Users can specify different cutoffs of 0.8, 0.7, and 0.6 to visualize the protection coverage of available mAbs.
